Klaire-SFI Undecylex supports a healthy gastrointestinal microbiota balance. These supplemental ingredients discourage growth of undesirable intestinal microorganisms, including yeast, fungi, and other undesirable microorganisms. Undecylenic acid: Disrupts fungal metabolism. This monounsaturated fatty acid disrupts fungal metabolism by limiting production of hyphae. Sorbic acid: Limits microbial growth. Widely used since the 1940s to limit microbial growth in a variety of foods, sorbic acid is an organic acid that penetrates microbial cell membranes and inhibits metabolic activities. Berberine: Exerts inhibitory actions Berberine alkaloids belong to a class of naturally occurring alkaloids found in a number of plant species. These compounds have been shown to exert several metabolic and inhibitory actions. Green tea: Decreases viability of undesirable bacteria and yeast. A lesser known benefit of green tea polyphenols is the ability to disrupt microbial cell membranes, inhibit undesirable host cell binding, inactivate or reduce toxin secretion, and trigger host defense mechanisms.

Recommended Use: 1 tablet, 1 to 6 times daily with food or as directed by a healthcare professional.
